Curtainwall Glazing System Blast Test
Stone-OBL performed an open-air blast test on curtainwall glazing system for a vendor in the Middle East to confirm the system complies with the project specifications and blast design criteria. The test and evaluation were done in accordance to U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) TS01, “Standard Test Method for Glazing and Window Systems Subject to Dynamic Overpressure Loadings” along with ISO 16933, “Glass in Building – Explosion-resistant Security Glazing – Test and Classification for Arena Air-blast Loading”.
