Double Door System Blast Test
Blast were evaluated for different explosive charge sizes. All blast tests of door systems were performed in accordance with ASTM F2927-12, “Standard Test Method for Door Systems Subject to Airblast Loadings.” Efforts are underway to develop and test a line of blast-resistant steel and wood doors for this vendor. The door systems were supported by steel framing in the Stone-OBL Concrete Reaction Structure.
